TV Land Greenlights Yet Another Cougar Reality Show

thumbnail icon: TV Land Greenlights Yet Another Cougar Reality Show

TV Land, the channel known for re-runs of shows we've seen before, has greenlit a new version of a show we've seen before: an older woman tries to find love with a younger man or men. This time it's called The Cougar (Working Title), but we all ignored it better last time when it was called Age Of Love on NBC, or Ivana Young Man on FOX.

TV Land announced today the pickup of a new elimination dating series, Untitled Cougar Project, where eligible young men vie for the attention of a sexy and accomplished mature woman (the Cougar). Through a series of creative and romantic challenges, the men will be eliminated weekly -- all at the discretion of the Cougar. The network will produce one-hour episodes slated to air in early 2009.

Hey, what ever happened to Cougar Camp, which was casting last summer? Anyway, if your mom wants to be The Cougar, she can apply here.

You would do yourself a great service to have the Contessa featured on your show. She is described as sophisticated, worldly, sassy, brassy but never distasteful...hot? an understatement...mesmerizing is more like it, just ask the long line of young men who have fallen under her spell!
