Anything To Get Gary Busey Back On Reality TV

We're not big fans of Dr. Drew around here, so it's with reluctance that I call even minimal attention to the supertrailer for Season 2 of Celebrity Rehab, but I do so for one reason: Gary Busey's back! (Cameos on The Cho Show don't count.) Whoever is making these "supertrailers" for VH1 deserves a promotion because they make the TV seem a lot more compelling than it probably actually is:

I know Gabe is gonna be real mad when he sees I put this up, so I would like to encourage him to watch 'til the end, when Dr. Drew Pinsky has his own drama queeny breakdown! It's so hard being The Worst. Everyone wants a piece.

Interesting that they chose to focus on Gary Busey's acting achievements of The Buddy Holly Story and Point Break. I think it would have been better to call out the movies which lead him into rehab such as Surviving the Game or Silver Bullet.

I'm a little too old to be playing "Hardy Boys meet Reverend Werewolf"!

And Rodney King? Where was his caption? "Beaten by police."

Is Kenickie gonna die, Mommy? Yes, yes he is.

Oh yeah, I meant to say that it's really sad that a generation is going to learn who Rodney King is and about his place in history from a show that involves him puking out the door of a truck.

ohman.
i just totally cried.
i'm such a recovery groupie.
it's good that i don't have tv because i'd totally watch this piece of crap show.
gabe, i know dr. drew is a self-promoting jerk, making a career off of of exploiting other people's misery, and i haven't watched the first season of this show, and i am solely basing my opinions on this really persuasive commercial, but doesn't this seem like it has the possibility to be both depressing and also kinda inspiring, like 'gs to gents?'

Nikki McKibben is as much of a celebrity as Gary Bucy and Jeff Conaway? Really? 3rd place on the first American Idol is BASICALLY the same as being super talented and successful..

"Is Kenickie gonna die, Mommy? Yes, yes he is".... L-O-(l?) wait that's not funny...I am sad...this show is sad.

Rodney King... "place in history?" :-\

I don't really think Mr. King has/had much of a place in history, so much as what befell him does/did.

I think even at the time people knew Rodney was not the brightest crayon in the box, and most likely headed to some sort of rehab, the problem was with the brutality, the class distinctions, the racism, the abuse of power. I would quote sublime- but then I'd hate myself- yet, I'm pretty sure you all know the line I'm referring to..maybe not... oh, well.

At least he wasn't drinking and driving and speeding and then pulled over by the cops- this time. Who knows what would have happend to the powder keg of America then.

Fuck it- who cares... Mama needs a new pair of everything- Bring the riots on!

Gary Busey is the man. I want to take him to the pub and buy him as many beers as he wants. I have him on my GPS as a voice I got from www.navtones.com, real celebrity voices on your GPS, Gary Busey is funny!
Love the clip, thanks for putting it up.
