Real Doctors Talk About Relationships When They're Supposed To Be Saving Lives Too
Tonight ABC premieres the first episode of a 6-part documentary series called Hopkins, which follows surgeons and residents at Johns Hopkins hospital in Baltimore as they make life-or-death decisions, and, apparently, gossip and do shots. It seems that America needs even their real-life medical dramas with a spoonful of sex, or at least that's how ABC seems to be selling it with this trailer that literally uses Grey's Anatomy as an enticement:
Another trailer on the ABC Hopkins site goes a little deeper, and this Times review paints the show as basically a Discovery Health special but with better production values, which sounds great. Just please please please, no Grey's Anatomy-style five minute ending montages.
