Grown Man Ashamed To Have Figured Out Who Wins The Bachelor
In a charming YouTube video he describes as "proof I have too much time on my hands," a Canadian gentleman demonstrates with footage how he's figured out, only two episodes in, which woman Jason chooses in this season's The Bachelor. Spoiler alert:
I love when he curses while trying to find the right screencap, and insults himself for even watching the show. The commenters seem to love it, too. I predict marriage proposals! As for his "pinky ring theory," I'm cautiously optimistic but skeptical: after all, making all of the women pose while Jason pretends to propose to them is EXACTLY the type of thing they would do on this show.

The problem with The Bachelor is all the authentically crazy women are eliminated way too early (does anyone remember the "my eggs are rotting" lady a couple years ago? eliminated on day 1, right?) After that, the blandness just gets suffocating. It's time for the show to die.

The only issue i have with this theory is that, from where the bachelor is kneeling, the girl whose hand he is taking is on the left (from his point of view). The camera is filming her left side. In the clips that you showed, the pinkie ring is on her right hand, not her left. Even if she had handed him both hands (though it only looks like one, her left) the ring probably still wouldn't have been visible. it's also unlikely that if she usually wears it on her right, that she would have switched it to her left before the final elimination, knowing there is a chance she would get proposed to (why clutter up the ring hand??)

I figured out who won the first season of Shot at Love with TT a couple weeks before the finale based on several commercials and promos for the show. You could match the shirt Bobby was wearing in the promo for the finale (which came out two or three weeks before the final episode aired) with the arm and hand holding the final key in the initial promo shot for the show. WOW! Wayyyyy too much time on my hands.

PLUS...I witnessed a Taping of this season in October.It was for one of the final episodes. Jason had the last 4 girls with him and she ,Melissa, wasn't one of them. They all signed there names where the filming took place and again, her name wasn't signed. All I know is that one of the girls had some devllish eve brows.

This is so funny! The Canadian dude is equal parts DORKY and COOL. I love that he beat the show"s producers at their own game and I appreciate that he shared his findings with us. Hysterical!

No, I agree with the video guy. In the first episode my mom was paying attention to the girl's hand that he was putting the ring on and she noticed the girl had very distinctive fingers, especially the pinky. The next episode she watched, she noticed the girl's hands were Melissa's. He's right, sorry, ABC really is not that smart. You can almost always determine the winner by the previews.

After watching this spoiler, I really payed attention tonight while watching "the women tell all" and at the end when Molly is getting ready, after the blow drys her hair and she's sitting there with make-up already on her eyes, if you watch, she's wearing a gold pinky ring on the same hand that Melissa does. Guess it's all back up in the air now, right? LOL
