Pablo, The Cocaine-Smuggling Dog

Over in the UK, they seem to be having a problem with cocaine in their discotheques or whatevers, so they've started a campaign called Frank, to show youngsters "the other side of cocaine." Their latest PSA in the Frank series stars Pablo, the funny drug-mule dog who somehow dials a phone:

There's also a toll-free number to call to learn about the dark side of cocaine. It would be funny (and effective) if the calling centers were staffed with people on a lot of cocaine who were assholes to callers.

I think this campaign has been really successful; it’s horrific without being to horrific that people completely miss the point. It works brilliantly showing all the different aspects of what drugs can do to you. I hope it has helped encourage some people to get the drug treatment they need.
