Al Franken's Campaign Ad Spoofs Are Terribly Serious And Unfunny

Al Franken is running against Norm Coleman in Minnesota's Senate race this year. Good for him. He seems like a smart enough guy with some good ideas in his head. But it's really hard to watch his campaign ads without thinking it's some kind of parody.

(via Fimoculous)

"Did you guys see Saturday Night Live this weekend? It was weird how it was only 30 seconds long and it aired Sunday afternoon. Also it was kind of sad. I'm an idiot."

More Al Franken ads after the jump.

LOL the vote, you guys.

I miss the days when Al Franken was funny, and would be "Live Via Satellite" on Weekend Update with a giant satellite dish strapped to his head.

him winning isn't a crazy notion, I mean c'mon, this was the same state that voted Jesse "The Body" Ventura into the Governors house, Minnesota is obviously on the cusp of the hip and now.

The unfunny so called comedian has won his seat in the Senate. Bets on how long before he embarasses himself. Although I'm sure he'll think they're laughing with him. Pathetic!
