Operation Watch This: Are You The Favorite Of Anybody?

This short film Are You The Favorite of Anybody is a few years old. It was on the first issue of Wholphin, the McSweeney's DVD magazine, which came out in 2005. But it just went up online, and it's pretty good. It was directed by Miguel Arteta, who directed Chuck and Buck and is working on the adaptation of C.D. Payne's Youth in Revolt with Michael Cera. It was written by Miranda July (who also appears in it), and stars John C. Reilly (Dr. Steve Brule.) Oh, and there's also a cameo from Mike White, and a Mexican!

You know how I know Miranda July is quirky? Because I saw her macrame spinach dip in a bread bowl made of whimsy one time.
