Beauty Is Only CGI Deep There is an article in the New York Times today about a computer program that can determine "the most attractive set of distances and then choose the ideal closest to the original face" to create a "beautified" image of someone. Sure. Except this "beautified" image of Michael Cera is totally creeping us the f out.

Is the beautified image frame 3, If your looking at them from left to right? Un-Uh- #3 is definitely not beautified and totally creepy- I much prefer the 1st frame.

Fuck that algorithm!!! Embrace your quirkyness. Hold fast to your uglies!

Michael Cera's appeal is a result of a fortunate combination of unattractive features, and making sure you never see his nose at profile. He's immune to this algorithm.
