Hey, Let's Give The Unusuals A Shot Sure, the trailer's a little cheesy, but let's give the new cop dramedy The Unusuals a shot when it premieres on ABC tonight. Adam Goldberg deserves our national attention.

Girl Friday

I know I am living in the times of the dinosaurs and whatnot, but I don't have tivo or DVR. That said, Lost has been blowing my mind so thoroughly every week that I really don't have the ability to watch anything after it. Maybe if ABC scheduled "Puppies R Cute" after Lost I could stay tuned in, but that time slot is a curse. Sorry Adam Goldberg.

Point of order: did you hear that they totally ripoff "The Wire" in the pilot?

Ah, I should have read closer. Sorry

But yeah, I want to like this show but I dunno where they get off using that, like the article points out, it didn't fit with the suspect in the scene.

We should always support Adam Goldberg. Only reason I am putting it on my DVR tonight.

And what was the excuse for stealing that copy machine bit from Homicide (both the book and the TV show) -- which was later borrowed for the Wire? Why use something that's already been on TV twice? There have to be better ways to pay homage, if that's what they were going for.

Okay, maybe it was an homage to the Wire, seeing as how Dukie just made a cameo. Obsessed Wire fan shutting up and signing off now.
