This Is Your Music Video: BassHunter's "DotA"

You know how it is. After a long day of multi-player on-line gaming you hit the club, toss back a couple of vodka Red Bulls, and then it's back to the computer lab for some after hours multi-player on-line gaming. PARTY! You push on and you are owning, with the opponents you are toying, and then it's time to go to the rave and dance to a song about multi-player on-line gaming. Sung by your boyfriend. It's called Saturday night. Get some.

The lol is on us, though. This video has 9 million views. That is so many. We just got slept on by Basshunter. Oh snap in our face. Not that we didn't put up a good fight:

Nice one, Lindsay. You got him. (Got=married.)

Oh Jeesus, Basshunter's hit America.
We have to live through his crappy love songs where he cops off with models during his deejaying. I wish we could have him in LAN Parties.

Totally Dance Hits Europe '02! Party! I'm Blue, Dabbo-Dee Dabbo-Die!

Seriously. Die. This song has been lodged in my brain for the past half hour.

If you ignore the partying, this music video is actually a relatively accurate portrayal of mmrpg-ing. A bunch of dudes lazily staring at a computer screen while a hot girl sits next to them. Actually, the euro-partying is pretty accurate too. A+

Too bad America doesn't have these kind of clubs everywhere. All we get is shitty rap.

I'm shocked that no one has mentioned the genius that is Boten Anna...check out the lyrics (translated of course). My favorite part is the part where Anna is a robot and she cleans up our channels and then suddenly she''s not a robot - she's a beautiful girl but she still cleans up our channels. It was huge when I was living in Denmark. Watching awkward Danes flail about to Basshunter while imagining a robot who isn't a robot never failed to amuse me.

This is really, really old. Also, the lyrics to the song are actually about playing a video game called Dota and the English quotes are samples from the game. I categorize both the music video and the song as awesome nerd triumph.

Really Gabe? How long have you lived on the internet, and you're just now posting DotA?
