The Ultimate Argument Settler: The 10 Best Fan Made Hip Hop Videos With Sims Of All Time

thumbnail icon: The Ultimate Argument Settler: The 10 Best Fan Made Hip Hop Videos With Sims Of All Time

Fan made music videos featuring The Sims aren't exactly new. Electronic Arts kind of blew the lid off of the underground nerd hobby last spring when they had Lilly Allen make a video for "Smile" in which she sang the song in Simlish, the Sims language. (I had to look it up. Take it easy, nerds.) Still, have you seen these things lately? They are the funniest thing.

I was going to collect all the best fan made Sims music videos, but the indie rock ones were so boring. And they hardly put any work into the indie rock avatars. Why, that doesn't look anything like Andrew WK. The hip hop videos featuring Sims, however, those are the Real Talk of Sims videos. They don't play games.

After the jump, the 10 Best Fan Made Hip Hop Videos with Sims of All Time, son.

10. R. Kelly (feat. Usher) - "Same Girl"

9. Akon (feat. Snoop Dogg) - "I Wanna Fuck You"

8. M.I.A. - "Galang"

7. Lil Mama - Lip Gloss

6. Lil Wayne - "Lollipop"

5. Rihanna (feat. Jay-Z) - "Umbrella"

4. 50 Cent (feat. Justin Timberlake) - "Ayo Technology"

3. Kanye West - "Gold Digger"

2. Beyonce - "Irreplaceable"

1. UGK (feat. Outkast) - "Int'l Player's Anthem"

EDITOR'S NOTE: the Sims video for Soulja Boy's "Crank Dat" would definitely have been on this list if the user who made it had made it embeddable, but since it's not it will be relegated to HONORABLE MENTION.

These are the future of entertainment. By the year 2018 I predict everything will be rendered in Sims and compressed into pill form. And then one day someone will pretend to swallow their Entertainment Medicine but actually hide it under their tongue, and they will be the Chosen One who leads humanity in a revolution back to its roots of being stupid about what's great, because we were doing really well in 2018.

i hate this song. but you really overlooked "Smell Yo Dick".

The 360º camera move on the dick smelling? Pretty much secures a top 3.

Wow, pretty damn impressive.

I love how R. Kelly is compelled to tell a soap opera with every song nowadays. Every song is like this epic tale, he needs his own tv show where he just sings drama.

Trapped In The Closet should just be weekly.

Edith

Can the next one be the 10 best "Lose your debt" "get better insurance" "get a fancier degree" banner ads with the GIFs of the sim-like people dancing?

I can't find a real example, but kind of like this: http://media.bigoo.ws/content/halloween/gif_skulls/halloween_skulls_36.gif

Yesssss! I love this post. It sucks that you can't just post 45 seconds of YouTube videos because this kind of video is usually completely amazing until you get over the fact that it actually exists. Then it becomes instantly terrible. Fan vidders really need to learn to edit their insanity down to an easy-to-make-fun-of length

I can't believe Ice Cube's "Down for Whatever" didn't win this one, let alone even make it on the list. Shameful.
