The Daily Show Visits Robyn's Broken-Down Crib In Sweden

On last night's Daily Show, Wyatt Cenac visited Sweden to see if it's the Socialist nightmare Glenn Beck keeps telling us it is. After the initial excitement of "government sanctioned hand-jobs," Wyatt visits pop star Robyn's crib and learns the ugly truth. She only has one TV!:

That was funny, even if the whole joke kind of rips off Redman's Cribs episode (aka the best Cribs episode.) It's been like nine years, so it's probably fine.

Carrie

That was such a great segment. I think many Americans who watch FOX would be afraid of being European because it seems less powerful somehow on multiple levels. My favorite line was "the possibilities of CAPITALISM." I think the possibilities of capitalism are spelled out pretty well with the Ying Yang Twins. What kind of civilized society would we be if we couldn't spend all our g's on Crunk Juice and Ramen???

LOL.... right... this was meant to be funny? Anyway, I'm sick of them too! Always making me smile when I say SWISS- Just who do they think they are?

And also, SWEDEN and the Swedish have Cloetta Kex chocolate wafer bars - which IMHO automatically makes them WINNERS!

the post before this was aimed at Scott Thompson; it doesn't really make sense otherwise, then again, most of my comments don't anyhow.

Eh, he should really try walking around downtown Oslo at night. Its a hellhole. Besides all these countries are moving away from socialism because they can't handle the increasing number of immigrants. That's also why it would never work in the US.

Robyn is seriously the best. It only makes me like her more, knowing that she is not a wealthy snob of some sort.

the Swedish are too social, i agree.
But the attitude of the Americans is just SICK.
The richest country in the world, but still a lot of poverty in the big cities (mostly black people, off course). America could learn (a bit ) from the swedish people ...
