The Lonely Island Guys Perform "I'm On A Boat" On Jimmy Fallon

Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer performed their song "I'm On A Boat" live for the first time, backed up by The Roots on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night, to probable frat boy delight:

The song isn't bad live or anything, but I prefer the original SNL digital short feat. T Pain, just because it's funnier.

The number of times I have had to define "Pashmina afghan" has skyrocketed because of this song. I live with two fratties.

Of course, my previous record for "explaining pashmina" was = 0

I don't know, Lindsay. Not to be a scold, but if it's not that great and appeals mainly to frat boys... maybe post something else? We send you guys viral gold!

Fuck this jive.

Robin, I see where you're coming from but I'm a girl and I dug it. Partly because I am so deeply in love with the Roots and I love that Black Thought did T-Pain's part

Wait. I don't have a problem with Lindsay posting stuff that I don't think is interesting, but I feel like she should at least post stuff that she thinks is interesting. But whatever, I guess she has her reasons.

She obviously does find it interesting. Has she ever failed to post a Lonely Island clip from SNL on "Just the Funny Parts"? On this, Lindsay and the Frat boys are simpatico. Don't be a snob.

"The song isn't bad live or anything, but I prefer the original SNL digital short..." You're right, I can really feel her excitement.

Jorm's the only thing that made this worthwhile. I could watch that man sit for hours. Well... yeah.

I think the best part about Frat guys liking this so much, is how much its really making fun of those same guys. Its kinda like when Neo-Cons love Stephen Colbert so much.

frat boyz are like, seriously, so clueless about what is real and hip and REAL in life, especially in pop culture. it's like, "oh look at this vid broz! just found it, "on a boat!" Soooo chill dudez, like holy fuck!"
but really, if they were anything but L.A.M.E. they would be like, "hey man, do you think animal collective suck because they were on letterman? it's like, my child just left for college and now i have this urge to redo the room into a home office or a sewing room."
It's all about knowing do be and more importantly understanding what you should like.
am i right?
