Kanye West's Mellon Collie And The Infinite "Flashing Lights" Videos

Earlier this week an alternate version of Kanye West's "Flashing Lights" video leaked onto the internet, and today there's ANOTHER unreleased video for the song. Just in case you're the worst at math, that is three videos, which is a totally reasonable number of videos to make for the fourth single off of your album that barely needs any publicity anyways, not that anyone even broadcasts music videos anymore.

(via Nah Right)

What on Earth is this video? Kanye was like "Imagine if Addams Family Values was actually a horror movie" and the director was like "I couldn't possibly question your vision." Kanye West was like "I want a video that's a combination of The Others, something the Smashing Pumpkins would have been into in 1999 after they fell apart, and a commercial for the most disgusting soup," and the director was like "The soup is a vampire." Kanye West was like, "How bad of a video can we make?" and the director was like "you have no idea."

How bad of a video? What are you talking about, this is the best video I've seen in a while. It's like something Madonna would have done int he early 90's.

Don't even entertain this asshole writer... he's a negative Nelly in all of his postings. Haven't you noticed?

Agreed. This is my favorite of the three. The writer of this article can suck a dick.

Hey let's give him credit though, he wrote an entire post without his normal prose. I was expecting his opening sentence to be "New Kanye West video, you guys:" like 99% of the other postings.

"something the Smashing Pumpkins would have been into in 1999 after they fell apart"?

I mean, I guess it KINDA looks vaguely like "Zero", which was a killer video, and definitely made well before the Smashing Pumpkins fell apart.

In other words, I concur, this video is alright, and this poster doesn't have a clue.
