CORRECTION: Richard Kelly's The Box Won't Even Have A Good Soundtrack
Well, the one thing Richard Kelly's new movie The Box had going for it was a rumored Arcade Fire soundtrack. Too bad so sad says Win Butler:
"Hi everyone. Just to let you all know that (Internet-based fact checking aside) Arcade Fire is NOT doing the soundtrack to any film. We are all off for the summer, writing songs, reading books and keeping our plants alive. Regine, Owen Pallet [violinist Final Fantasy] and I may do an instrumental piece or two for Richard Kelly's new movie...we met at a show this year and hit if off, but we are not planning on doing any major work for a while, and this would not constitute a soundtrack or a release."

Since all of his movies are such hack film school senior thesis projects, Kelly should probably just get campus favorites Deus Ex Machine (do not exist, just made up) to score the movie. That is if they're not to busy playing an alcohol-free concert for incoming freshman in the dorm basement (of my imagination). Richard Kelly is the worst, the end.
