The Only Thing Lazier Than M. Night Shyamalan's Filmmaking Is His Photoshop

thumbnail icon: The Only Thing Lazier Than M. Night Shyamalan's Filmmaking Is His Photoshop

Look, it's hard to make movie posters. It's probably the hardest job on Earth. People in Darfur are like "If I had to choose between suffering genocide and creating movie posters, I would defini-[gun shot]." What's happening in Darfur is horrible and not something to joke about. Back to the time-wasting blog about movies and farts!

A good movie poster can be so exciting, even if the movie itself promises to be horrible. Take the early posters for M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening, with its jackknifed cars on an abandoned highway under a Neverending Story sky. Spooky! Very Close Encounters. Very War of the Worlds. Very copy and pastable?

Two new international posters appeared today for M. Night Shyamalan's El Fin de Los Tiempos (via IMP), and there's something peculiar about all those abandoned manual-transmission Peugots and Renaults.

Whoopsers. Ich bin eine lazy! Either that, or SPOILER ALERT El Fin de Los Tiempos turns out to be five car models that will kill you. Come on, M.Night Shyamalan, you couldn't even "flip horizontal" that shit? TirĂ³n horizontal, motherfucker. No nos insulte con esta tristeza.
