Rainn Wilson Kidnapped Jenna Fischer What Now?

In the most confusing movie marketing scheme since (maybe) the Montauk Monster, Rainn Wilson has "kidnapped" his Office co-star Jenna Fischer and "won't let her go" until his movie The Rocker, which opens August 20, makes 18.7 million at the box office:

There's a website for these shenanigans called Freejennanow.com, which most recently has "a message from Slash." Conclusion: Jenna Fischer and Rainn Wilson stayed up late smoking pot one night and Jenna was like "How can I help your movie?" and this is what they came up with. It's so crazy it just might work! Has anyone else come to the realization that, besides when playing Dwight Shrute, Rainn Wilson just isn't funny? Everything from those painful Nike commercials to his strange turn in Juno has been sub-par. Don't get me wrong, I do think he's brilliant on The Office, but it seems like he's gotten some sort of "funny pass" where all he has to do is stand there and people think its the funniest thing ever.

I totally agree. I hope The Rocker is funny, otherwise I will be really sad and disappointed in Rainn Wilson.

The Rocker looks awful. In the theatrical trailer that girl ACTUALLY SAYS, He's sloppy and he's a mess and he's full of life... Or whatever.

I couldn't have come up with a better way to make fun of that movie. Thank you, The Rocker, for doing my work for me.

Jenna's the best, though. Is she still married to James Gunn?
