Old Ladies Know Where The Wild Things Are Isn't Dead After All

Ignore the rumors that Spike Jonze too-awesome-for-America version of Where The Wild Things Are is on hold and possibly won't come out in theaters. We know that the edgy kid's movie will definitely come out, because Madame Alexander is already offering an expensive WTWTA doll in the Hollywood section of their 2008 catalog:

I really want Scarlett and Mammy for my next birthday, but these things are kind of overpriced to buy ironically.

One of the 50 biggest fights I ever had with my mom was when she learned I had lost the blue ribbon headband for the Alice in Wonderland Madame Alexander doll that she had handed down to me. She was so mad!

I think if I called her up right now and reminded her of it she'd still be really mad. I think she actually took it back. The doll. I think she took the doll back.

Woah, I thought it said it was eight thousand inches tall. I miss the days of the life-sized Barbie. But maybe they never left? And did I actually make up the life-sized Barbie?

The Hunt For The Worst Movie Of All Time: Dan In Real Life

Pain is relative, duh. On the scale of human suffering, my Sunday nights are ICE CREAM SOCIALS. That doesn't mean that I don't actually cry out in pain during some of these movies. I do. But I recognize that there's...
