Stephen Colbert Talks About Going Commando On Good Morning America

thumbnail icon: Stephen Colbert Talks About Going Commando On Good Morning America

In a presumably pre-taped segment that aired this morning on Good Morning America, Stephen Colbert told Diane Sawyer about the four upcoming shows (starting tonight) that he's taping in front of the troops at Saddam Hussein's palace, and showed her some videos of his experience in basic training (or "basic training"). Stephen explained that he was able to make the trip despite suffering from "a rare medical condition known as cowardice." They also showed photos of Stephen's new buzz cut, administered to him by Presidential order by General Raymond Odierno:

It's always so weird when Stephen gets serious! Hopefully Stephen will give Sarah Palin some ribbing tonight for blowing the lid on his Persian Gulf location.

When I watch this, I wonder who in the world wouldn't like him. I mean, liberals, conservatives, anyone. He's a genuine guy who just wants to help everyone out by entertaining. He's a true American hero.

It's just awesome how sincerely pleased he looks when he's talking about donorschoose.org

Oh, Steven. You > us. I hope we've already begun work on cloning you.
