Vincent The Fashion Man: The Classy Naked Cowboy Of Chicago

I will contain my disappointment in everyone I know in the city of Chicago for not making me aware of this before today, because this is it: the MOST AWESOME video of Monday, November 24, 2008: "The Ballad Of Vincent," a guy who has dressed up and danced his way into the hearts of Windy City local morning news viewers and anchors. Here are his greatest hits so far:

We can just all go back to bed now. There isn't going to be anything better than this today. I love Vincent! (Via everythingisterrible.)

Oh, Vincent is his name! I see him all the time, I always referred to him as Old Morissey, though. Can't you see it? Yeeeaaah.

That's awesome! I wish we had someone like that here... we have a guy with huge muscles that wears a denim mini dress and a pimp that carries a big stick, but no Vincent. :(

The Vincent documentary premiered a couple weeks ago at the Cucalorus Film Festival in Wilmington, NC. Great movie, plus Vincent and the director were there for a Q&A.

Guys, he has a site: http://www.vpfalk.net/

And is apparently legally blind... so all of us who thought he was a little touched are assholes.

it's not very nice to call someone legally blind just because they have an ugly website.

Somehow I vaguely remember this guy but I don't usually catch the morning news so I was not familiar with him. That is incredible. I'm mad that I didn't know more about him. I love him. He is totally Chicago's mascot.

Also: his spinning reminds me of Leatherface's dancing at the end of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Y'know, but with colorful suits.
