SNL Just The Funny Parts: Yes You Can Say "Jizz" On Television

thumbnail icon: SNL Just The Funny Parts: Yes You Can Say "Jizz" On Television

Whoa, Amy Poehler surprised everyone by returning to SNL just six weeks after having her kid! But that wasn't the only shocking, awesome thing to happen on Saturday's show. Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone debuted the first single from their February Lonely Island record, "Incredibad," in a digital short that also starred Miss Everywhere Jamie Lynn Sigler, model Molly Sims, and Justin Timberlake. Oh yeah, and the song is a Flight Of The Conchords-esque number called "Jizz In My Pants." If only George Carlin were here to see this on television!

5. Obama is cool. So Fred Armisen *will* continue to play Obama?

4. Andy Samberg impersonates that 9-year-old with the book about talking to girls. That 9-year-old with the book about talking to girls has already been soundly (and more hilariously) parodied on the web this week, but the part about white girls and cocaine is funny:

3. Amy Poehler's cold open as Hillary: "Like the South, vampires, and Britney Spears, we will rise again."

2. The Lost Works Of Judy Blume: Gertie. This isn't absolutely hilarious, but it's Judy Blume on SNL! WTF?

1. "Jizz In My Pants" -- note the superdefensive "this aired at 12:40 when your stupid kids were asleep so don't complain to the parent's council" web-only warning:

Next week: Hugh Laurie hosts the last SNL of the fall, and hopefully does the next chapter in the Lost Works Of Judy Blume. I want to see House, M.D. do his best teenage girl.

All three lonely island boys are there: andy, jorma and akiva.

Now THAT is funny! That Samberg music video is priceless.

This sound a little close to Flight of the Concords' Inner City Pressure, don't you think? FOTC is better.

Agreed. This whole song is just ripping off the Conchords. Murray is going to lay the hammer down on Andy Samberg!

During my exam this morning "Jizz in my Pants" was on an infinite loop in my head.

Very similar to Inner City Pressure. Both have been intermittently stuck in my head all weekend.

Was Fred Armisen not supposed to play Obama anymore?

The only disappointing aspect of Hillary's nomination is the fact that there will be (at least) four more years of Clinton jokes.

Also, "Jizz in My Pants" was hilarious.

"Jizz in my pants" was funny, but Malkovich's opening monologue was the only other funny thing that I saw. Perhaps Kristen Wiig's sexy/unsexy character & Bill Hader's Vinnie Vederci's Malkovich impression were funny too, out of the context of the rest of their respective sketches.

jizz or jissom (in burroughs lingo) never made it onto the seven words list. why the fuck didn't it? you go by carlin's criteria and it should have.

Are you guys listening to the same song? Because that sounded nothing like any FOTC song, sorry.
And wow, I missed that Judy Blume sketch, but does John Malkovich win creepiest in drag award?

It sounds like it's using Pet Shop Boys as its model, just like Conchords used "West End Girls" to build "Inner City Pressure." Listen harder.

"Calculator" was far and away SNL's best non-digital short skit this season. Hysterical.

I agree Armisen's Boy George was excellent. I don't he's the first comedian to do a modern-day Boy George impersonation? Not easy.

Also: "Jizz" reminded me of "West End Girls" more than anything.

The office party sketch was hilarious. I think Kristen Wiig was at her funniest.

Is there an online petition to stop Samberg's digital shorts? I'd be willing to just give him his own show so fans can have somewhere to go besides stuffwhitepeoplelike.com and people like me can avoid him altogether..yes and enjoy our Werther's.

I loved the "Calculator" sketch. John and Fred were so good, and it was so simple yet hilarious, even (especially) when John screwed up.

I got this really joyful picture of David Cross during the "The Van Wyeck Expressway... "part of "Gardenia"this meant I HAD to take my dead tired broke ass down to the Kitten Factory last night... I've studied my whole life to be a part of SNL and such...I know every little last thing right and wrong with the show right now. (Does Vito Corleone HAVE to dictate the musical guest EVERY week?) Imagine my suprise when three of them were standing outside filthy smoking !!!...as i left. I was stone sober and dead tired and besides Bowie was was pouring drinks over at the Blue Bar. Willie Loman is chewing my ear off this morning. Replaying it back in mind it's all so heartbreaking. La Dolce Vida ending/Surf's Up sad. I blew it!
