Jon Stewart And Rich Sanchez, Sittin' In A Tree
The Daily Show NAILED it last night, and everyone should watch the entire show if they haven't already, but the most LOL moment came during Jon's coverage of Arlen Specter's party-switching, when a moment of unexpected on-air honesty by Rick Sanchez shocks Jon into retiring the footage of Sanchez getting tasered, which the show has depended on for laughs for years. (And that we get to see again, "one last time.")
The Sanchez part starts at 5:43, but HELL, the whole thing is funny:

Also funny last night: Senior Black Correspondent Larry Wilmore mourns the death of black comedy forever:

I like how Jon tries to distance himself from the Dave Chappelle joke, like he's just the host and didn't know it was coming. Four years after he ditched his job and ran away from home, Dave Chappelle jokes are finally allowed.

CNN anchors get testy with their guests whenever they want a promotion.
It worked for Campbell Brown when she SNAPPED OFF on Tucker Bounds - she got her own show... then John King left his Magic Wall and started touring the primary circuit voicing the opinions of the angry people on Main Street - he got his own show.
Sachez already has a few hours in the afternoons, so he's angling for something BIG.
Score = 3
When Campbell went off on Bounds she already had her own show. They just came up with that stupid "No Bias No Bull" name after that. http://www.skeezy.com/

That Dave Chappelle joke was one of the single funniest lines I've heard on TDS in a long time. Where has he gone anyway?
