John Hodgman Talks To Conan About Taking His Fame In Stride
John Hodgman, the only famous person who literally everyone likes, was on Conan O'Brien last night to promote his new book of made-up lies, More Information Than You Require, and to poke fun at his celebrity, striking comparisons with Jay Z, and lack of sports interest:
John Hodgman on his tuxedo: "Gentleman's Quarterly Magazine gave it to me for being on television." That guy is the best. Give his book to everyone on your list.

There is something wonderfully refreshing about a person who becomes famous for playing a nerdy geek, and then...when you see him in person...learn that he's every bit the nerdy geek he's been pretending to be. Gives the rest of us hope, somehow.
