Detroit Octane Is A Parody Band Performing A Comedy Song

Detroit Octane played their hit song "Barack Obama-sistible" on Conan O'Brien last night. I don't know why Conan has to introduce them as "America's Premiere Political Song Parody Musical Act," which must be the single worst introduction in the history of pulling off fun comedic stunts, or at least the worst since This Guy's Not Really A Foreign Guy Impersonating Elvis, He's A Comedian Impersonating A Foreign Guy Impersonating Elvis And His Name Is Andy Kaufman.

LOLOLO-sistible. On the one hand, I feel a little bad for the tourists were just hoping that their visit to the Late Night studios would include actual celebrities and maybe a performance by Guster, or Drowning Pool. On the other hand, more things like this on network television please, Mr. Entertainment.

The "lead singer" with the attitude stool is Jon Glaser, who was (still is?) a writer for Conan's show. He's so funny that he can even make Zach Galifianakis laugh:
