This Is Your Music Video: Joe Pesci's "Wiseguy"

The fact that this video only has 400,000 views is as if only 400,000 people knew about the Holocaust. It's like George Santanaya said, "those who cannot learn from miserable Joe Pesci bullshit rap videos are doomed to repeat them." That's on his tombstone. And it will be on ours, too, if we're not more careful. NEVER FORGET. (Thanks for the tip, Glinner.)

I don't expect much from Pesci, but I refuse to believe that Frank Vincent had nothing better to do on the day this was shot.

This is either the best joke ever or the saddest. Either way, you win, I think.

Also, this video is a great way to start the LOLkend (that was a stretch).

It must have really been a stretch of Joe Pesci's award-winning(?) acting skills to rap arrhythmically while staring blankly into a camera.

Did they just drug him and prop him up in front of a board to film this?

Towards the end I thought it might be a Joe Pesci animatronic... I kept waiting for him to break into "The Bare Necessities".

The director wisely told Mr. Pesci, "The less movement, the better," after Joe showed a few steps he had picked up from watching the kids on MTV.

Although, to be fair, Take Your Love and Shove It is the song I lost my virginity to. As in, that song forced itself upon me when I was just a child.

Any time Graham Lineham or Videogum reference each other, my heart lights up. It's like getting to see two stars collide.

It was creative of him to completely rip off Blondie like that. Nice job, Joe Pesci. I guess they didn't sue him because nobody cared about this song. But I think we should all sue him for burdening the world with such garbage. Videogum class action lawsuit, anyone?

Isn't it "buried"? How dare you insinuate that this song doesn't make all the sense in the world!

This man knows how long it takes Sam Tipton to cook grits. As far as I'm concerned, he can do what he wants.

I hope the ladies in the video who agreed to be touched by Joe Pesci were adequately compensated for that violation.

And who thought rapping over the beat to Rapture by Blondie was relevant to hip hop? He's no Debbie Harry, which is something that will never be said again.
