Saturday Night Live Sells Out Bud Light An upcoming episode of SNL will be sponsored entirely by Anheuser-Busch to promote its new line of awful beer: Bud Light Golden Wheat. That major network TV show owned in part by the military-contractor General Electric has totally given in to THE MAN, man.

It seems people in the public eye all all targets for snark, unless they are the bestest of best friends with the editor of the site. I just try to imagine what Gabe would have said about that horrible Biker Chat sketch had it not been written by his bff. He himself recognized that it would have been a likely subject for the site anyway.

Jeez, next thing you'll be telling me is Orson Welles' radio shows will be sponsored exclusively by PBR. Is nothing sacred?

Whoops, if I did. I've been on a diet for the past week where I eat less food then before the diet. So I only read titles, and every other word.

I wish those dumb dumbs would treat that thing like a farm team rather than a serving tray...it would probably pay off in the long run...Bud Light Lime is pretty good as far as light beer goes but that's neither here nor there...

I'm scared of this un-aired footage more than any thing.

Bud is basically hiring The Lonely Island to write a digital short starring their new beer and hoping it'll go viral. Otherwise, who cares about an episode of SNL? (and now... Gerard Buttttttler!)

I had a Bud Light Golden Wheat, now and forever known as Bulge Whey, and it wasn't bad. They should market it to unmarried uncles across the USA.

The future of advertising is here. I'll bet Bud features in a few of the sketches as well, probably not as comically as 30 Rock's "Snapple" episode, but probably a whole lot less soul-destroying than the It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia "Dave & Buster's" whore fest. That last one really hurt.

The episode was really off-putting for some reason. I watched it last night and remembering it like I watched it while really, really high. Which I wasn't at all.
