Mood: Dark Knight
Music: Prince--Bat Dance

In preparation for Dark Knight, which according to Ben Stiller's nephew Carl is going to kick Iron Man's ass, a new trend has taken over LiveJournal. It would appear that the adolescent blogging community are "Jokerizing" their avatars. MINI-BLOG-TREND ALERT. To "Jokerize" your avatar, you basically take your 100x100 pixel picture of Dax Shepard or whoever the kids are into these days (Pink? Gavin Rossdale?), and you draw funny lips on it and write HAHAHA or WHY SO SERIUS. The idea comes from the Jokerized trailer that circulated as part of the viral marketing scheme back in April, but this is far more interesting.

After the jump, a bunch of LiveJournal Jokerized avatars put together into a collage.

The kids over at LiveJournal are so fun! Look, I made my own, guys.

I call him Al Joker. ZANG. I'm pretty sure I just became a moderator at ONTD.

Oh man, I started noticing that earlier this week and just pointed it out to my friend this morning. Gabe, you and I have got our fingers to the pulse of LJ culture. Okay, I'm going to go be wildly uncool somewhere else now.

This has been going on for like a year. Mostly at internet forums, ever since that comic con stunt.

The Videogum Movie Club: 2012

Uh. OK. Well, first let's address what this movie did well, like the disappointed parents we are (or at least that I am), recognizing that the negative feedback won't be useful or constructive if it isn't preceded by something positive....
