A Loving Fan Tribute To The Insanity Of Election 2008

If you watch ONE THING today, make it Sara Schaefer of BWE.tv's hilarious and surprisingly nostalgia-inducing look back at Election 2008 -- the viral gang's all here, from Paris Hilton to the Obama monkey guy. Seriously, you'll be amazed:

Is it normal to have gotten GOOSEBUMPS watching a tribute to political-themed internet memes? We DID have the time of our lives, didn't we? And we owe it all to you, Internet.

That made me tear up more than the actual Obama victory.

Trig Palin, I'll miss you most of all.

Ahaha. It would seem we have succeeded in our amazing top-secret plan to brainwash McCain into making terrible racist insinuations, implying Barack Obama, when in reality...he's actually not!!! Ahahahaha!! If only we could do this FOREVER. Get on that, super evil team of lawyers.

(It's not weird, some of that shit--weird enough, I knows--was important, like Wright and Palin. Actually, Wright arguably prompted Obama to give one of the most sophisticated speeches a candidate for president ever gave, so yes, goosebumps are called for. And the music! It beats goosebumps out ofya!)
