After watching Death Sentence, a terrible movie starring Kevin Bacon as a father in search of vigilante justice directed by Saw's James Wan, Gabe embarked on The Hunt For The Worst Movie of All Time. This is his sad journey.
If you are a sassy and sarcastic young man in an American sitcom who represents the sitcom writer's desire that a nerdy Jewish teenager can somehow be the desirable romantic hero in this world, then eventually you will get a...

I shouldn't even be here right now. I SHOULD BE GETTING INTO MY COSTUME! If I don't hurry, my facepaint won't be dry before I get to the MOONVIE theater, and everyone will be like "hahah, you look like you're...

Blogging about TV and movies isn't all fun and videogames. Every week, Lindsay or Gabe will be presented with a physical or mental challenge that tests their bravery, patience, and taste.
The Challenge: I had to go on a 3.5 hour bus tour of totally random TV and film locations in New York City. Alone, and wearing a specific ridiculous tshirt. And I had to find someone to take my picture...

Let's all go to the movies, and let's all see the same movie, and let's discuss it here.
Uh. OK. Well, first let's address what this movie did well, like the disappointed parents we are (or at least that I am), recognizing that the negative feedback won't be useful or constructive if it isn't preceded by something positive....

Shouldn't this SUMMER OF DEATH have ended after Labor Day? If I'm not allowed to wear seersucker, celebrities shouldn't be allowed to keep dying.

The autumn equinox isn't for another week. Maybe death will throw us a bone and take care of Glenn Beck, or at least Jay Leno.

We all agree Jay sucks, but let's let him live.

Next up to complete the arbitrary trifecta: LADY GAGA*

I am going to go all Cheesegum. Patrick Swayze was in a lot of my favorite movies as an adolescent, and when someone like this dies, it feels like a part of your childhood is lost, in a way. Not only did he leave behind a great career, but he managed to not be "Hollywoody" at all, as well as handled his illness and impending death with much grace. I truly feel for his wife of 34 years (that in itself is most admirable, let's admit it), and his family. Stay Gold, Patrick. Stay gold.

RIP Swayze. Enjoy yourself in that Road House in the sky.

And now for something completely different...
Not to be a total cocksucker, but this whole "Summer of Death" rhetoric needs to stop, and really shouldn't have ever started. Millions and millions of people died this summer, just like every summer (Welcome to College). Referring to this particular summer as such, only because a few celebrities passed at untimely points in their lives, seems, to me, very insensitive and condescending towards the majority of families dealing with their own tragedies. Maybe I'm denying the reality of our media-saturated, celebrity-obsessed culture, but the phrase is, ultimately, juvenile... I mean, come oh'on.
I don't wish to take away the severity of every death that occurred over the last few months, but I really think people should use their brainz before throwing around nonsensical phrases and bringing the attention of others' tragedies to themselves... That said - I'm a sad little panda today and will watch Point Break on repeat, probably all week. May Adrian and Barney now dance upon the heavens for all eternity.

Cult surfer movie, great lines, great scenes yet one of those so overtop that its so bad that its good flicks, I love it and Swayze was great in it ..."Why be a servant to the law, when you can be its master". Worth checking out if you havent seen it
