The Wendy Williams Show Promos Are Creepy, Weird, Intriguing

thumbnail icon: The Wendy Williams Show Promos Are Creepy, Weird, Intriguing

FOX has been running these promos in New York for The Wendy Williams Show, a "limited engagement" talk show that will star the (apparent) radio host giving love and sex advice. The show will air in NY, LA, Detroit, and Dallas this summer, with hopes for national syndication if it's a hit. They're funny because they don't make any sense! What is she talking about, and what is that creepy branded CACKLE at the end?

Men don't like women who wear sheets:

Don't pull Wendy's hair to hard, it's a wig!:

I believe the word you're looking for is "ahhhhhh!" There's another one where she talks about drying her wigs in the oven. July 14 can't come fast enough!

Having the name Wendy Williams has been enough of a chore, what with the porn star turned punk rocker turned suicide vicitim, Wendy O. Williams, but now I gotta live through this chick's climb to fame too? Argh.

At least Wendy O blew up the teevee...that was pretty cool.

She is getting so much material from that one blonde wig. I sorta wish the debut was months away, because these deranged promos are so good on their own.

Oh, and Lindsay, "How you doin'?"
