my goldfish Zee died a few weeks ago. He looked like Lucky except bigger and more orange. He was 9 years old. A good fish. A strong fish. A brave fish. He never swam away when the cat, Pepper (who also died recently - he got kittie cancer) watched him in his bowl... he bore it with an iron resilience like the Good Little Champion that he was.
You will be missed Zee and Pepper.

Seems almost cruel to buy children goldfish pets. I didn't need to be taught about death again and again and AGAIN. Went to school with red eyes after many a quickie morning flush ceremony. RIP, Zee.
