thumbnail icon: Damon Weaver Gets Fitted For His Inauguration Tux!

You might have read that little Damon Weaver, the Florida ten-year-old reporter who gave the internet our most adorable election coverage, has finally been granted media credentials to attend Barack Obama's inauguration. And here's video of little Damon prepping for his biggest potential interview yet -- and telling us his intrepid, gonzo-journalism plan for getting access to the new President:

Now, Obama just has to agree to a real interview with Damon. You know who was the last person to diss Damon Weaver? John McCain. And we all know what happened to him.

What happened to Omari! Where is the coverage of Damon's faithful camerman who disappeared near the end of the election? This is both frightening and an outrage. Somewhere there is a young A/V savant with a very bitter heart right now.

Damon Weaver is awesome. He's only ten and he's more determined than most people I know. When I grow up, I wanna be Damon Weaver.
