This Is How They Did Anti-Drug Ads In The '70s
With the exception of anti-meth ads, most anti-drug ads make drugs look more fun than they are. This Hanna-Barbera highly abstract conceptual anti-drug PSA is no exception, until the part with the scary skulls:
Just tell your Grandma you blew off dinner plans to wear a white pantsuit and hold hands with pills. (Via LaughingSquid)

The band that did this music (and Scooby Doo's lurking around the haunted premises music) was the best. I fully credit the drugs that said band took for their greatness.

This is such a funny advert, no wonder anti-drug adverts had no impact in the 70’s. Although there still isn’t enough adverts around today advertising rehabs and the drug treatments available to help people with addictions. The only ones I’ve ever seen are just for asking about advice.
