The Most Adorable Beer Commercial Ever

I'm not going to give away the ending any more than the image does, but this new Heineken commercial is the best:

Aside from being sweet and heartwarming, and causing nostalgia for Biz Markie singalongs, this is a really effective, un-preachy commercial. Good job, Heineken.

I didn't know we were allowed to change the radio station in cabs.

Okay, this makes up for the horrible "Heineken Closet" commercial. You know what I'm talking about.

Does this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcm9oGBrNKA make it a bit better?

I'm not sure about the wisdom of that leave line, though. "Let a stranger drive you home"? Huh? That's what we're telling drunk people?

I have kind of a problem with that too. Maybe I'm dumb, but I thought the cab was an easily missed detail. (And while I understand why they did this, it doesn't help that the cab driver's white. Even in Austin there's no white cabbies.)

I wouldn't go that far and say that you're dumb, just maybe you should get some glasses.

Point taken, but that's still not a remotely recognizable cab-riding experience. And then when the tag line comes on (simultaneous with the cab going by) all I could think of was, That's a really weird message.

Wait, what? No! Not cute! Creepy! That guy is clearly driving those kids to his hipster-torturing hidey hole! Anyone who goes to the barbershop with a picture of Chris Cooper in American Beauty is clearly not right in the head.

I want to be doing this RIGHT NOW.

Though I'm pretty sure the existence of a jovial white cab driver who knows the words to "Just a Friend" is actually less likely than shooting yourself after smoking out.

This commercial would be a lot creepier/more hilarious if those two girls weren't acompanied by the two guys.

It's rare that I voluntarily watch a commercial but this was not bad at all.

I don't think you should actually let a stranger drive you home though.

What if the "stranger" or your cabbie turns out to be Creepy Old Man. Boo Heineken BOO!
