Meet Jean Paolo. Microsoft gave him $1500 to find a laptop that's right for him. He wants us to know that he's tech savvy. He wants us to know that he has big hands. He probably hopes we know what that's supposed to mean. He's a smug tool, and he's a PC:
In Microsoft's defense, it was pretty ballsy or whatever to actually describe their competitor's product as "sexy" in one of their own commercials. Sexy = bad in Microsoft land, which sounds about right. If this commercial gets a lot of airplay, maybe people will lay off that adorable Justin Long for a year or two.

fuck macs. Lets think, a pc with 12gb ddr3 ram, over a terrabyte of memory and an intel i7 processor for 1300$ (which i own) or an or a mac pro with similar specs for around 6000... Do the math. And yes, i even worked at the apple store and i do like macs, they're just to god damn expensive and have an annoying following of moron elitists who really don't know shit about computers.

Macs are for technically computer impaired (Computer retarded) and Windows are in all truth for more technically savvy people. Either way, you can pretty much get whatever you want done on either computer. But if you want to game it up, Macs are the biggest piece of shit you can buy.

Not quite so. Even though they may use the same processors, that doesn't mean they will meet the graphic engine requirements which unless you are willing to spend at least $2000 for a Macbook Pro or somewhere between $1300-1500 for regular iMac, you won't be getting anything decent in these terms. Plus gaming software is usually not supported in the Mac OSX, so another aspect about it. Meh anyways I'm done here. Time to go put stupid comments on stereogum.

whoa... this post just turned into nerdygamergum. I'm obviously out of my league (not a nerdy gamer).
All I know is that after 4 years of a frustrating vaio a250, switching to the new macbook pro was like heaven! And no one will ever agree on the mac v. pc debate, obviously, but this article was pretty interesting--comparing the mac vs. pc "bang-for-your-buck".
Shelling out $2,800 for a laptop kind of hurt, but after reading that a comparable microsoft machine would cost $3,000+ (not that I would have bought a pc either way), it made it hurt a little less.
