Lewis Black Is The New Spokesman For Aruba

Lewis Black has totally sold out (heh) and done a bunch of new commercials for Aruba, a concept I was going to make fun of because they're extremely cheesy (Lewis Black is grumpy about the good weather and how nice everyone is, etc), but having watched my sixth Lewis Black Aruba commercial on the coldest day in my city since 1994, I sort of just want to go to Aruba now. A lot. Here's Lewis being grumpy about a massage:

I just hope Lewis isn't one of the 90,000 friends I haven't met yet, because he's grumpy. (Via Punchline Magazine, which has the other five cheesy commercials.)

That was weird. Then it was funny. Now I don't know what to think.

I do know that Lew never met a dime he didn't like, so I hope he's being paid nicely. He was never the same for me after I learned that he doesn't write his own pieces for The Daily Show - and after bashing the Weather Channel for *years* he did a guest stint as a weatherman.
