Did That Commercial Just Say "Extraordinary Nutsack?"

I was catching up on Intervention this weekend (this was a non-Jeff Van Vonderen week and therefore not urgent), when I saw this extraordinary commercial for True North mixed nuts. If their official site didn't seem so boring and legit, I would be convinced that this is viral marketing for something else. Because at the end of the commercial, the guy says "extraordinary nutsnack" and it sounds just like "nutsack"! This clip isn't the highest quality, but it definitely gets the point across (nutsack!):

If you think that this was somehow innocent and unintentional and that the agency that made this commercial thinks "nutsnack" is an acceptable household word, take into account that even Google agrees with me on this one:

Isn't Extraordinary Nutsack the name of a Fiona Apple album?

I thought it was the name of a New Pornographers side project.

what

It's blowing my mind that a commercial that pretentious would try to use "nutsnack" to sell something.

hah! I saw that commercial last night and thought the same thing. I wanted to tell everyone but I hate thinking about effort. I was waiting all day for someone to say something about it on the internet.

thank you.

The narrator's pronunciation of the word "peanuts" is suspect as well.

Phx, that's hysterical!!! I'll have to listen closely next time I see/hear the commercial on tv.

I think it's funny as hell. When people are around I make sure I play something from my DVR that is from the A&E channel just to see their expression when this commercial comes up. To the few that actually pay attention I crack up see their reaction. But I have to say that I had the same feeling... NUTSACK? Really, did I have to hear NUTSACK on TV? I mean I wouldn't have been more surprised if I had awoke this morning with my face sown to my carpet. Who thinks up this crap?

I thought it was just ME!!! LOL BUT, the commercial just came on and my fiance just heard "Nut Snack" hmmmm.....even if they are saying "snack" versus "sack" I believe it was done on purpose. There is a difference in sound in the two words "snack" and "sack" The makers of this commercial could have had the narrator speak much more clearly and louder, but I believe they wanted to have a little fun with this commercial and confuse the audience.

He Does Sat Nutsnack But I Think They Intentionally Made It Sound Like Nutsack Which Is Kind Of Petty When You T hink About It The Fact That They Have To Go To Lengths Like This To Sell There Product Might Mean They Don't Have A Very Good Product To Begin With. But The Commercial Is Hilarious None The Less. I Spilled My Juice This Morning When I Heard What I Thought Was The Word Nutsack I Was Laughing So Hard.

they did say "nutsack" I heard it a couple of times and my jaw dropped. Then I
just heard it the other day again and nutsnack was said. I know the difference.
Nutsack is said, because it comes in a bag. Maybe they had complaints and had
to change it, or planned it that way...

I actually *thought* he was saying SACK and not snack. Surely the slang term nutsack must have stemmed from a sack o nuts from the olden days.
They changed these commercials now and at the end the guy now says just "snack". No nuts.
Oh whoops a double entendre.

I just saw the new commercial! It was immensely disappointing. Extraordinary snack (or sack(tee-hee)) really doesn't have the same amazing ring to it. Le-sigh.

I recorder this commercial several times over a 3 or 4 days period and you can hear it change from "extraordinary nut sack to "extraordinary nut snack" on the third day. It had been nutsack for about a solid week or more. I think I still have the recorded shows complete with commercials and changes. Yes. it seems like I must have no life but I just remembered what network I heard them on and recorded them because I just had to know.. If anyone is REALLY interested I'll look thru some hours of saved shows and try to find them for you. Just let me know, it may take me a bit of time to screen them but I will.
