All I Can Say Is "Sham Wow"

Tipster Christopher sent this in with the comment "introducing the most un-camera-friendly hybrid of C. Thomas Howell & Billy Mays," but I actually like Vince, the "eh, whatever" infomercial spokesman for Shamwow, the extremely absorbent magic towels, because he seems like a regular guy they chose off the street and did one take of him playing around with Shamwows and liquids. "Are you followin' me, camera guy?":

"I dunno, it sells itself." I actually might buy some Shamwows now.

I'm pretty impressed with that parody video you posted ricky. I didn't really laugh at it, but I was pretty impressed that the Sham Wow can soak up coffee from a dictionary/book. That needs to be in the infomercial!

This guy's name is Vince Offer, and he's been around. He's the guy responsible for The Underground Comedy Movie (Gena Lee Nolin's best role!), and also managed to sue the Farrelly Brothers and the Church of Scientology.

He also sued Anna Nicole Smith after she backed out of his movie because it might hurt her career. I guess that if Anna Nicole thinks your movie's bad, your only logical career move is selling stuff on TV.

I've seen this on tv so many times. "The Germans make great stuff." Haha. Love it!

I disagree with the guy-off-the-street comment, though. I think Vince sounds like a well-practiced salesman. I totally want to buy a whole bunch of Shamwows.

My wife and I won't shut up about these Shamwows. it's like "Oh shit, I splashed some water on the counter." "Don't you wish we would've ordered some of those Shamwows."

For real.

He looks like a cousin of Steve Buscemi. I'm hoping they have ShamWow at the Sold on TV store in the mall.

But, I want to know, if you put it in the washer, like the dude says, wouldn't it soak up all of the water in the machine???

Fred Armisen needs to come up with some new characters already.

I saw this during "The Soup" and kept waiting for the mankini or the maxi pad to come out. Bizarre.

One of my friends bought to Shamwow... she said she wasn't impressed. Apparently it kinda sucks.
