The New Season Of Sesame Street Has Jokes For Grown-Ups

Sesame Street made a highlight reel for their 39th season (starting August 11th), and in addition to the previously reported Feist and Neil Patrick Harris musical numbers, they're going all out to stay relevant with parents, even if the kids won't have any idea what's going on. Does Will Arnett playing a magician mean Sesame Street is technically a same-world spinoff of Arrested Development? My favorite part is the 30 Rock parody starring Liz Lemon as an actual lemon, but that would be my favorite part:

(Via pterodactyls.tumlbr and also Gothamist.) I have one major major criticism, though: Kim Cattrall should not be seen by children or other living things. The word of the day for that casting is "no."

Love that "I am a cookie!" sounds very much like an out-take from 'Rejected'

When I was a kid I hated Sesame Street and refused to watch it, but this made me kind of love Sesame Street. Mainly for the Will Arnett part.

I'm TiVo-in the hell out of this. It does have Alternate Universe Donald Faison as the Human Cookie, after all! And apparently Guy Smiley's too busy to do game shows anymore.

While to too laughed at the "Mustache!" part, my laughter immediately gave way to fear as I saw Elmo wearing HIS OWN MUSTACHE at 2:57. It's no surprise that the next clip was "What does frightened mean?"

All this mustache talk only makes me assume that this is the season Elmo hits puberty.

The Hunt For The Worst Movie Of All Time: Kangaroo Jack

As a rule, a children's movie cannot be the Worst Movie of All Time. Make no mistake, children's movies are categorically horrible, with very few exceptions, and those exceptions tend to be children's movies that are mostly for adults, i.e....
