The United States Of Tara Is Debuting A New Fake Personality. What Should It Be?

thumbnail icon: The United States Of Tara Is Debuting A New Fake Personality. What Should It Be?

Vulture reports that in the wake of its recent second-season renewal (why not Kath And Kim??), the United States Of Tara will soon show Tara's fourth fake personality (for a total of five personalities.) Vulture's Mark Graham ventures some zany guesses, but given how obvious Tara's other alters have been so far (prissy housewife, teenage whore, redneck man), here are my guesses as to the identity of the fourth:

  • Tyra, The Sassy African American Lady
  • Jimmy, The Mafia Made Man
  • Disco Stu
  • Teensy, The Littlest Beauty Pageant Princess
  • Terrence, A Female-To-Male Transexual
  • A dog.

It's totally going to be closer to the first one, but I would start watching this show again if it was an animal. Toni Collette runs around barking and humping legs while her daughter makes overly sophisticated quips, all the time? And John Corbett has to be tempted to have sex with it? That would be the best show!

the two requirements for the new identity are; okay with defacing mural, okay with urinating on parents. I'm guessing it's probably not something fun like a sassy Tyra.

I didn't watch the most recent one (done), but couldn't it be any of the personalities who did those things?

nooo, her 4th thing is evil, which is the MOST stereotypicsl, an evil twin.
although it did growl while peeing on her parents, which is kind of doggish. and the red raincoat was weird.

Please let it be Tyra! If she puts on blackface the show may get canceled.

I've seen next week's episode and SPOILER ALERT the other alter shows up, but only long enough to pee on Tara's sleeping dad while wearing nothing but a rain poncho.

A showtime programming executive who, in a moment of clarity, realizes this show is crap and puts the kibosh on it. I hope.

I think it kind of looked like the thing that was ripping up the wing in John Lithgow's version of Nightmare at 20,000 feet. This new addition certainly adds a dark twist to the story, but I am intrigued. This alter seems to be a human stripped down to nothing but animalistic impulses. She shows her anger and marks her territory. It was uncomfortable to watch but I am interested to see more.
