Nyuck, Nyuck, Nyuck, Indeed Oh man. Paul Giamatti has been hired to replace Sean Penn in the Three Stooges movie, ensuring that this thing is still going to be so NUTS. We just heard Fandango is temporarily off-line due to overwhelming pre-order ticket sales (no we didn't).

until penn dropped out this was going to be a legendary film. now it's just going to suck in a pedestrian way.

If one were to read the article, one might note that while the directors think Paul Giamatti would be great, they already have an offer out to someone else. And that no talks have taken place between them and Paul. And that the article is really quite pointless.

I'm still confused. Is this going to be a bio-pic about how they led somewhat depressing and lonely lives? Or is it going to be a full on Three Stooges slapfest? If it's the former, it might work. If it's the latter, I see some careers grinding to a halt.
