The Videogum "Louis C.K. Promise": Parks And Recreation Great Louis news, you guys. Louis C.K. will have a story arc in season two of Parks and Recreation, playing a police officer and a potential love interest for Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler). High five.

How does Parks and Recreation get renewed but Lucky Louie doesn't?

Because, even though I love Louis CK, that show wasn't good enough and I imagine not enough people watched it.

Critically, it was poorly reviewed, but fans loved it. I guess my point is, Parks and Recreation is atrocious. But the cast is great and hopefully they can de-Michael Scott Amy Poehler's character somewhat.

Because the asses at HBO wanted to go a different way. The ratings got better every week, they just didn't care.

You are right, P&R is not good. Let's hope the 2nd season is better and is worthy of Louis's presence.

I loved Parks and Recreation. I can understand the problems everyone had with it. It isn't the perfect show by any mean, but it's my perfect show. I think the combination of Aziz Ansari, Amy Poehler and Paul Schneider was exactly right for me.
I'm psyched as hell.
