The Room Director Tommy Wiseau Was On Tim And Eric Last Night

thumbnail icon: The Room Director Tommy Wiseau Was On Tim And Eric Last Night

After months of anticipation, Tommy Wiseau, the writer/director/producer/star of the Amazing Cult Movie The Room made his probable cable comedy debut last night on Adult Swim's Tim And Eric Awesome Show Great Job! Tommy helped out by guest-directing a sketch called "Pig Man" along with "Jessica Alba," and Tim and Eric hopefully introduced a new wave of Room fans to their new favorite movie by showing clips throughout the show. Here are Tommy's most memorable scenes.

Tommy's vision for the sketch:

It turned out not to be Jessica Alba, but an impostor, but Tommy insisted on going ahead with the sketch. Here it is: Tommy Wiseau in "Pig Man":

If you're not familiar with The Room yet, you can (and really, should) catch up. You'll love it. In other Room news, as of this afternoon they're adding a THIRD screening of The Room in NYC March 20th at midnight, at the same theater. It's going to be a madhouse (in a good way.) Tickets go on sale here.

Yes, it definitely (and obviously) is, but if you need further proof, Tim and Eric discuss his appearance in that Entertainment Weekly article from a few months ago.

My boyfriend thinks Tommy Wiseau is Christopher Walken, or a close relative. Hm?

Inevitably, Tommy W. will be on SNL in "The Continental."

The joke is that there is no joke, the room is the worst movie made of all time but in the bet kind of way. its not just so bad its good, its so bad it redefines the concept of movie making and makes your head expole with joy.
