Amy Sedaris Is The Only Thing That Could Make Me Watch The Closer

Aww, that sounds mean, but sometimes you just don't have the emotional energy for another hour-long drama. I'm sure The Closer is great. Here are two clips from Amy Sedaris's recurring guest starring stint (begun this week) as Kyra Sedgwick's manic, psychic, vegan future sister-in-law. I'm always down for a good carob joke.

Amy presents the food she made:

Amy reveals she's a psychic intuitionist:

Broken record time: someone please give Amy Sedaris her own show. (At this point, though, she must have turned everyone down already. That minx!) (Via Lemondrop.)

Amy Sedaris is the best!!!! I still won't watch The Closer though. Something about Kyra Sedgwick's face freaks me out.

what is it?
i think she's mostly lovely, but there's something kinda weird about it.
is it the julia roberts lips?
it's something and it's weird.
also, her accent on the show is wretched.

I thought Amy Sedaris was going to be Kyra Sedgwick's sister or something, they are like split sinks.

Ballroom Pink

Amy is working with Paul Dinello on a new show. And she's going to have a book out soon.

I like The Closer. I don't think Amy's episode was particularly good.
