Spaced On The Difference Between Women And Men

I've been making my way through Spaced, that cool show by the Shaun Of The Dead folks that aired in Britain in 1999 and 2001 and just came out on DVD. I didn't want to watch any of the show online so as to purify the chronological entire-series DVD-watching experience, but this scene stands alone as an example of the show's brilliance: what starts out as a conversation about the differences between men and women turns into the two funniest fight scenes I've ever seen (though I think non-funny fight scenes are stupid, probably because I'm a chick.) You don't have to have seen the show to get the truths revealed here (be sure to watch to the end):

Last night I watched that scene four times. Someone in Hollywood should totally make an American version of this show, just kidding.

This is one of the most known clips from the show. The plot of the episode involves Simon Pegg's and Jessica Hynes' characters going out on the town, getting high and fighting some hoodies. This is actually the first episode I ever saw and the second-to-last episode of the series.

That was intense! If they ever put a scene like that in a movie, it would automatically become one of my favorite movies. Now I want to buy this show really bad.

They did make an American version. It was cute, but didn't get picked up.

I watched this show about a year ago. Took me months until I got the whole series but it was worth it. Everything that creative team has done is amazing. If you haven't seen Hot Fuzz watch it. Right now!
