Deleted Seen: Tony Stark Meets Ghostface Killah

When I went to see Iron Man (back in the spring of 1847), the theater erupted into enthusiastic applause during the scene in which Tony Stark is flying in his private jet with a Ghostface video playing in the background. It was an exciting moment. So I can only imagine what would have happened if this scene in which Tony Stark actually meets Ghostface had been left in the movie. I'm pretty sure a bunch of people in the audience would have even stopped talking on their cellphones for two seconds.

Any time I see a party scene in a movie, I know that they filmed it without music so that they could record clean dialogue, and that the music is added in post, but it's always unsettling to actually see the footage. It just goes to show that the difference between having the time of your life and being a creepy 28 Parties Later zombie is 10,000 dollars in licensing fees.

Maybe they cut it because Ghost calls him Tony "Starks." That's always bugged me.
