UPDATE: 10 Ways To Save Katherine Heigl's Character On Grey's Anatomy As Envisioned By Someone Who's Never Seen Grey's Anatomy

thumbnail icon: UPDATE: 10 Ways To Save Katherine Heigl's Character On Grey's Anatomy As Envisioned By Someone Who's Never Seen Grey's Anatomy

So this morning ABC is reporting that Katherine Heigl will NOT be leaving Grey's Anatomy in the fall. Reports the AP:

"She's absolutely staying with the show. There's an unbelievable story line for her this year, which is really central to everything that's going to go on this season," [ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson] told a meeting of the Television Critics Association on Wednesday.

Well, I'm not entirely sure that "an unbelievable story line" and "diagnosed with a brain tumor" are mutually exclusive. But if ABC is serious about saving Dr. Isobel "Isaac" Stevens from leaving the post-apocalyptic skyscraper hospital, here are a few suggestions:

10. Dr. Isobel Stevens wakes up, and it had all just been a dream.
9. Dr. Isobel Stevens wakes up, and it had all just been a dream.
8. Dr. Isobel Stevens wakes up, and it had all just been a dream.
7. Dr. Isobel Stevens wakes up, and it had all just been a dream.
6. Dr. Isobel Stevens wakes up, and it had all just been a dream.
5. Dr. Isobel Stevens wakes up, and it had all just been a dream.
4. Dr. Isobel Stevens wakes up, and it had all just been a dream.
3. Dr. Isobel Stevens wakes up, and it had all just been a dream.
2. Dr. Isobel Stevens wakes up, and it had all just been a dream.

You're welcome again, Hollywood.

Don't forget the autistic boy playing with a snow globe of Heigl's head, before smashing it on a copy of Knocked Up

Ugh. This is so disappointing. There's no saving that show.

I am excited that she won't be taken off the show....granted she has done some stupid things in the past, it doesn't mean they should kill her off.
