Duh: Larry The Cable Guy Is Bad At His Job
If you live in the Nashville area and you hate laughter, you might want to score tickets to the taping of the Larry the Cable Guy Christmas special on...July 30th:
BEVERLY HILLS, CA July 9, 2008 Larry the Cable Guy comes to CMT with a one-hour special designed to be a throwback to the old school holiday variety show in LARRY THE CABLE GUY'S STAR STUDDED CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA, taping on July 30 at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville. The special will air in November on CMT. Jack Records/Warner Bros. Records will debut the LARRY THE CABLE GUY'S STAR STUDDED CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA on DVD after the CMT premiere on November 25, 2008.
I'm sure everyone tapes their Christmas specials in July and it normally wouldn't be something worth making fun of someone for. It's just that Larry the Cable Guy is intensely unfunny, condescending to his audience, and the fake mayor of New Fake City over in Fakesylvania, so his taping a Christmas special in late July becomes another hilarious nail in his critical esteem coffin.
That's right, Videogum is on the forefront of Larry the Cable Guy backlash. Can you believe 2005 is halfway over already?

Love love love that old video. I could watch it over and over until my collar turns blue. By the way, you violated Section 8 of the Ned Holness Act of 2006 which states that you have to mention that his real name is Dan Whitney.

Between Videogum and Steve Hoffstetter [sp?], I get a regular supply of anti-Larry the Cable Guy.
