Duh Aficionado Magazine: Audrina Patridge Does Not Work In The Music Industry
There was an interview with Audrina Patridge in the LA Times yesterday in which she talked about what goes on behind the scenes (soy latte party!), what it's like to be famous, and her highly anticipated feature film debut in Blue Crush 2 (sorry, Dark Knight, but you couldn't be biggest opening weekend forever). At one point she talks about her job at Epic records, which is where she could regularly be seen gossiping and looking dim on the show during the daytime (not to be confused with the nightclubs where she gossiped and looked dim).
LA Times: Do you still work at Epic Records? Are you still looking to pursue a career in the music industry?Audrina Patridge: I don't work as much there as I used to. It's definitely not how it used to be when the series started.
LAT: What's your title there?
AP: You know, I don't know my title. I help out with anything. I help out with artists every now and then, making sure they're taken care of. I also do some A&R, listen to demos. But I'm really focusing on acting.
Yeah, no, that's how jobs work. Sometimes, at your job, you just don't work there as much as you used to. I mean, you work there, sure, but it's definitely not how it used to be. Mostly you're not working there. But it's your job, because that's a real way that things happen and also it is the way the world works and economies and stuff. You don't have a title probably, but, you know, it's a job, so mostly you just help out and focus on acting. Why are you being weird about this. You're acting like you've never worked a day in your life. Let me see your hands? Ew, they're all callousy. You're silly. I need another latte, can I borrow a hundred thousand dollars?
