The Weather Channel To Show (Two) Movies The Weather Channel is going to begin adding movies to their programming schedule. They're kicking things off with Perfect Storm, and then they're basically going to be re-running The Perfect Storm constantly. With the occasional Twister thrown in.

You can add "The Day After Tomorrow" to that list. And go ahead and add it The Hunt.

But I bet weather people hate that movie. Like how my physics teacher wouldn't shut up about Armageddon.

How tangential can the weather references be? That would open up Do the Right Thing (hot day in Bed-Stuy) and Wizard of Oz (tornados!). There's your double feature.
